Amanda März studied Journalism (B. A) at the University of Johannesburg, Economics and Statistics ( B. Com) at the University of Cape Town, and Economics and Politics ( M. Sc.) at the University of Freiburg. During her studies, she completed internships with the Walter Eucken Institute as well as with a Start-up focusing on renewable energies in Southern Africa. Additionally, she worked as a student assistant for the Faculty of Engineering and as an assistant program coordinator for the Faculty of Economics. She wrote her master thesis on implicit discrimination in the labour market with the Chair of Economic Policy and Regulatory Economics at the University of Freiburg. Since April 2022, Amanda März is working as a research associate for the Walter Eucken Institute. Her research interests are labour economics, experimental economics and the economics of discrimination.
