Lead independent research projects in the areas of public finance or economic policy, in collaboration with your team.
Work on projects that serve your own scientific qualification.
Support our Director in his research and advisory activities.
Advance the research agenda of the Walter Eucken Institut further, in cooperation with the Director and other research group leads.
Prepare bids for external funding and lead of externally funded research projects.
Requirements
You have successfully completed or are about to complete a doctorate in economics.
You are interested in public finance and economic policy research and have relevant publications or working papers in these fields.
You are interested in public finance and economic policy issues, science communication, and the ideas of the Freiburg School.
You are a team-player and ideally have initial experience in leading teams and managing research projects.
You are fluent in German and English.
You enjoy communicating with academic audiences as well as policy-makers and administrators.
